The feelings behind trying on clothes…

This is such a tough topic for myself, my body image, trying on clothes to showcase to everyone.

In the past year I had gained 20kg, I am currently at my heaviest I have ever been. I often look back on old photo’s where I was slimmer and confident in myself and wish I was slim again.

On the 29th Of January I had started trying on the clothes and capturing quick videos of me in them, showing them off, doing a little spin.

What you dont see is how sad and defeated I am trying on these clothes, it is sad that I know that some of the clothes I have will not fit at all, but that is ok, they will appear on the mannequin

I am super self-conscious of my body image now, but I need to be proud of my body for it has done an amazing thing, grow a baby.

This has been a very tough and confronting task that I had presented myself with. None the less, I will be trying on all clothes (even if I cant fit into them), taking the videos and posting them. I am doing this for me, for my business and to show my lovely customers and supporters the confidence I can have within myself.

At Bee-utifully You Boutique, our scrunchies began with a simple idea and a lot of heart.

It has been a hot minute!

We are back! It has been a hot minute!

Late last year I decided to take a break from business. In life we sometimes need to take a step back and enjoy our time and focus on our own life, and sometimes that means putting things on hold when we really don’t want to and to achieve.

I have had a career change, I moved closer to where I store all products and conduct business, I now have more time to focus on my business and to start growing the business.

It has been an absolute blessing the change, I cannot wait to grow and for you to follow on our journey :)

The Journey

We are so close to the start of September 2023, I have had 1 sale since starting Bee-utifully You Boutique. I have a Facebook and Instagram pages that I post to.

I do get some engagement on my pages, not as much as I would have liked, but hey that is just the way that the cookie crumbles! I do need to set more goals and aim to post more on our social media pages, I will get there!

I am so eager to start planning the clothes that I have in mind for my own clothing line. This is such a big goal, and it will take quite a lot of time to do so as well!

Where it all starts

January 2023

For years I have always dreamed of having my own boutique. Having clothing styles that I think are wonderful, shoes to die for and accessories to match any outfit!

I have always put my dreams on the back burner, so 2023 I decided to create Bee-utifully You Boutique !

I have always dreamt of designing my own clothing brand, as I have found it extremely hard to find good quality clothes in the styles that I wish to dress in. In time I will succeed and design my very first piece of clothing!!

So here we are, at the start of my Boutique Business!

Its the beginning

February 2023

Here we are, just getting started!

I spent the first 2 weeks of February designing my Logo for Bee-utifully You Boutique. I had initially made 7 logos, I was definitely set on 2 logos, I ended up sending them to my mum and got her to help me select my the logo I wish to use.

Once I had chosen my logo, I created an Instagram page. I started out by sharing my logo, and creating a post showcasing some hair claw clips that I have ready.

I then branched out and started searching for clothing brands that I would love to purchase stock from, I have currently found 1 place that I fell in love with their clothing. I made a purchase of 4 clothing items.

I further branched out to find a suitable place that I cant purchase shipping bags and garment bags from. I chose to go through Hero Packaging. I chose to go through them as the packaging I have purchased is compostable.

The clothes arrived pretty quickly! I was super stoked when they had arrived, I picked out 2 pieces that I will be showcasing.

March 2023

We have been working on our website and are almost ready to launch! This blog is the last thing I am finishing and then I will be publishing my website!!!!

We have also tried on our skirt we have available. It is super cute and heaps comfy. We are in love with it!
